I just read WonderWomans blog and almost wrote a blog of my own under her post comments. Go read her blog by the way. It's very good.
So.. I've written about some of the funny things that have happened here. In Estonian though. If you can't read Estonian then suck my dick.
Well, today I came out from the trainstation with P and suddenly 2 totally normal looking guys (they wore purple shirts, furry vests and shiny caps *cough*) came towards us and blocked our way. And they came close and kinda pushed us back. Italians don't usually do that. They may shout something or smile but they never actually touch you or violently block the way. They may step in front of you for a second but that's pretty much all. But these guys were all touchy touchy, one of them touched my hair.
Then we tried to move along but they followed us and one of the guys grabbed my elbow and didn't let go. He hurt me and I looked back and tried to free my arm while the other guy practically jumped to my face and shouted: HAI PAURA?
which means, are you scared.
I managed to free my arm and as we hurried on, we saw this older looking guy, bout 45-50, who glared angrily at the 2 guys. And it was a really angry glare.
The guys staid behind. I was so thankful to the guy. Uhh... it was really scary because its not what Italians usually do. There was something wrong with those guys. P and I were both really shocked. They didn't seem drunk but they could have been on drugs. I don't wanna think what would have happened if we were alone. They wouldn't have left us alone for sure. Really scary stuff.
Talked to my mom today, she said she's going to Bangkok in February. I'm glad because everytime she called me during last months, she always ended the call with: "Thanks a lot for doing Erasmus, now me and your dad can't go ANYWHERE"
Well good that she sorted out that she can still go everywhere even when I'm not there.
On Tuesday we had to send a fax to Estonia. So we went to an office in the school and pointed at the fax machine and asked if we could send something to Estonia. They took the papers, put them into the fax and then told us to wait 10 minutes because they were busy. We were like...gosh...it's a friggin fax, can't you just send it right now, but everybody ignored us, so we went to the corridor.
We stood there for 15 minutes, then some woman closed the door of the office. Then we waited 10 more minutes and another woman came out and said to us, and 7 other people who were now waiting, that they need 10 more minutes because they are busy.
We were supposed to go to a lecture, so we were seriously pissed off. It's just a fax, you have to insert the phone number at it's done. They even had the papers in the machine already. Anyway after 5 minutes we just went to the office by ourselves and there was a guy who helped us send the fax in like 1 friggin minute. And then it was done. Took us only about 45 minutes.
They all look seriously stupid, running around, looking busy, yet doing nothing. My mom could run the whole school and she would come home and say: well, that was an easy day.
Tomorrow is Thursday. Another Erasmus student who goes to our lectures invited us to a party at her place. She's living with 2 Spanish girls. We'll go but I don't have any expectations right now. Plus, at the local club there will be Erasmus Toga Party. Yeah it means you gotta go wearing a toga. Let me guess, nobody will go.
That's the boring part of Erasmus, everybody studies before exams because it's super difficult to have exams in a foreign language.
Plus, I don't know anybody who would be up for it. Wearing a toga, I mean. I totally would. I'm always for everything. But yeah... haven't met the right kind of a people maybe.
I should join a toga community.
Okay, I'll keep it sweet and short from now on because it's really difficult to blog really long posts and then I don't blog at all. But I'd like to. Otherwise I forget everything that's happening to me during this crazy period of life.
